Every Sunday 10:30am
The 10:30 service is lively, modern and family friendly. The service opens with worship which mixes traditional hymns with contemporary songs. The service has an informal atmosphere and we encourage people to engage in worship in the way they feel comfortable. Children stay in church during the first part of the service, before leaving for their own activities.
During the month, the services alternate between communion, morning worship, cafe church and all age worship, but the nature of the 10:30 remains the same: lively, warm and intimate. At the end of the service, you can join us for coffee and cakes.
Every Sunday 9:00am
The 9:00 service is a traditional and reflective. It includes a sermon, prayers and hymns accompanied by the organ. During the month, the services alternate between morning worship and communion.
All Age Worship
At various point during the year, we hold all age worship services. These usually happen at important times in the year such as harvest, advent and the start of a new academic year. The all age worship services are designed to be fun for everyone. We have songs, quizzes and games together with teaching from the Bible. All age worship is always interactive and slightly wacky, so come along and enjoy the fun! Check News Update for details of the next service or contact the church office.
Café church happens on the first Sunday of the month about four times a year at 10:30. Café church is different from normal services in that we try to make it more intimate and interactive so that everyone can get involved. Café church includes a quieter worship time with a smaller band, this is followed by group discussion of a passage from the Bible. Throughout the morning we serve drinks and cakes. Home groups take turns to plan the café church services so everyone has a say in what we study.
Whenever there is a fifth Sunday in a month, we join together for a united benefice service. We hold benefice services in each of the churches in our benefice in turn. Contact the church office for more details.
